Causes of Tracheobronchitis

What causes bronchitis? Infection is the main cause leading to bronchitis, e.g. Viruses, bacteria. The cold is often as a trigger factor to reduce the body's resistance. Irritating gases, including smoke, is also a cause of bronchitis. Allergic reactions often cause allergic bronchitis.

The causes of tracheobronchitis:

INFECTION-viruses, Influenza viruses, parainfluenza virus, RSV, rhinovirus, measles virus, rubella virus, adenovirus, Echovirus, Coxsackie virus, and herpes virus;
INFECTION-bacteria, Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Nocardia, pseudomonas.

Chemical or Physical factors, Cold air, dust, and irritating gas.

Anaphylaxis-allergens, Pollen, organic dust, fungal spores.
